Requests & orders

Submitting a custom request is free and does not by itself create an order or charge you. TMADE reviews each request by hand. A request becomes an order only after TMADE accepts the project, you accept the quote, and the required deposit is paid.

Price & payment

Quotes are in Canadian dollars unless the quote says otherwise. A 40% deposit starts an accepted build and is credited toward the project price. The remaining balance and any shipping charge are due before the finished piece ships.

Shipping, import duties, taxes and brokerage charges are separate from the garment price unless a quote expressly says otherwise.

Design approval & one-of-one work

Production does not begin until you approve the design direction. Each piece is made by hand from a specific jersey. Variations in the source garment, graphics, seams and available material are part of custom reconstruction, so another piece cannot be reproduced identically.

Your jersey

If you send a jersey, you confirm that it is yours to alter and that you are authorized to have it reconstructed. Cutting and rebuilding a jersey is permanent and cannot be undone. Keep the jersey until TMADE sends shipping instructions for an accepted request.

If TMADE is sourcing a jersey, sourcing begins after the project is accepted and the deposit is paid. Availability can change, so the final source jersey is confirmed as part of the project before it is cut.

Timing, shipping & duties

Published turnaround times are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. If you need a piece for a specific date, tell TMADE before paying a deposit so feasibility can be confirmed first.

International duties, local taxes and brokerage fees may be charged by the destination country or carrier and are the customer’s responsibility. The current shipping rates and details are on the Shipping & duties page.

Cancellations, returns & problems

Once TMADE has accepted the project and begun work or jersey sourcing, the deposit is non-refundable because production costs have begun. Custom garments are handled directly rather than through a stock-return portal. If a piece arrives damaged, defective, or is materially different from what was agreed, contact TMADE so the issue can be reviewed and resolved.

Names and marks

TMADE is an independent custom apparel studio and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or licensed by any professional sports league, team, player, or apparel brand. Team, player, league, and brand names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.

Where a piece is described as built from a particular team’s jersey, that describes the garment a customer supplied or asked us to source — nothing more.
